FDR was the first president major president that communicated to his public truthfully, in so many new ways that most presidents had never done before. One of the big things that FDR did was to make the first radio shows called "Fireside Reports". On that radio station he would talk to the citizens all over America, and tell them what we were thinking about doing. Americans trusted him a lot especially because Herbert Hoover messed up so much FDR seemed like a supper hero.
Obama to me I feel as though he is some what like FDR, but not the same. I understand that he came in as a super hero as well because he is black and because of Bush. But I still feel as though that FDR is way much better because he is the one that raised the bar for all the other presidents.
