Caption number1:
8:53 in the morning. I just got into work after an hour and a half on the bus and the trolley. It was a long walk from the sidewalk to the front door. . I don’t use the main front door because I don’t want to walk all the way around if I am going to be heading into the same area. The door means a lot to me because right before walking in I told myself “I can do anything that I they throw at me.” And “I’m not just representing myself, I am representing the school as well I walk into the South Bay Family YMCA and I was greeted by Catherine, even though she was busy. I would look around and I would see so many different activities going; elderly people working out, employees running around trying to keep up with the flow of the customers. I walk to my “office” it was not that far from the front desk. My work required that I stay at the front desk and help if anyone needed help.
Caption number2:
By 9 I am working hard at my shared desk with Randy which is the Business Applications Specialist. The other person that I share the office with is Rebecca she was the Business and Community Relations Director. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have to share the office with the two interns the Rebecca has. I had so much fun working with them they were very entertaining and taught me a lot. Every time I would walk in the office I would always ask myself “will they let me go to lunch with them today”? But they always said no because I was under eighteen years old. I would usually be there for about two or three hours working on making the movies that I needed to (What kind of movies). It was very hard for me to just be sitting there looking at the screen for three hours working on the same thing. It felt as though the time was going by so slowly and as though I was not even doing anything. In my spare time hang out with my buddies at the front desk.

Captions number3:
The happiest time of the day is the forty-five minutes that I have for lunch. The lunch area is not that big, it only has four chairs and a round table. “So the seating is very limited, you better get there early so that you can get a seat.” My mentor told me. Lunch time ladies” I said once the clock said noon. I would tell the ladies that had there offices in the back and where close to the lunch area. (I don’t get this sentence) The ladies I worked with pick on me because I eat unhealthy food. I just told them that they were jealous that I am young and that it would not do me as much damage it would do to them. I usually eat a subway sandwich (which is a proud sponsor of the South Bay Family YMCA) with hot cheetos and some times a cup of noodles. It wasn’t the healthiest thing in the world but man did it taste good after working on the computer for long hours. But there were days when Ray would bring me lunch.
Caption number4:
If you really want to have fun at the YMCA and know the types of activities we have, you go to the front desk. They are the most amazing people that you can meet (Catherine, and Ray). Ray would be my go to guy he would always let me order something and then if he wanted to get the he would go and get it for me. I don’t get this sentence either.) Catherine is just amazing she was like my mom she taught me everything. I learned so many things just by looking at them work, like answering the phone and how to take some ones picture and put their information into the phone. Of course there were some days when I was having a bad day but even then they would help me get through the day or even just attempt to help. They made me want to stop working and just answers phones all day and hang out with them. They were so cool that some days I would just wait for them because I didn’t really talk to many of the other employees. (Missing Picture)
Caption number5:
At the end of the day I felt loved and appreciated for what I had done that day. I would be getting ready to leave and the employees would tell me good-bye. The person that I noticed that would truly show that and would be there for me would be Catherine.
